Total Revenueℹ

Total invoiced amount
SUM of extended_price from all line items in the selected period. Includes fuel, taxes, freight, and all charges.

—

Total Gallonsℹ

Delivered volume
Gallons actually delivered — quantity received × unit-to-gallon conversion, not ordered. Short-shipped or undelivered lines count only what went out the door. Excludes MF Tax and Charge lines.

—

Delivered gallons

Gross Marginℹ

Revenue minus cost of goods
(Price − actual cost) × delivered gallons. Based on what was actually delivered, so it moves with delivered volume — undelivered lines add no margin. Before operating expenses.

—

Ordersℹ

Distinct invoice count
COUNT of unique order numbers in the period. One delivery may have multiple line items but counts as one order.

—

Open ARℹ

Accounts receivable balance
SUM of open_amount from unpaid invoices (status not Cancelled/Voided). This is the total amount owed by customers.

—

Total outstanding

Avg $/Gallonℹ

Revenue per gallon
Total Revenue ÷ Total Gallons. Higher values indicate premium product mix or pricing power.

Gallons by Product Category

Categories are derived from each line's product line and category (fuel is booked with a blank category, so it's keyed off the product line). Tax, freight/fee and finance lines are excluded. Click any category name to drill into the products inside it — that's where individual brand names (Lubriplate, Pyroil, Delo, Primeguard…) live. Gallons reflect delivered volume (quantity received).

Fuel Supplier ↕	Orders ↕	Gal ↕	Revenue ↕	Margin ↕	GP/Gal ↕

Fuel orders only — orders carrying a fuel-rack vendor (lube, DEF & parts orders are excluded). This is who AEG buys fuel from (the AP vendor), not the retail refiner brand — AEG lifts rack fuel through jobbers, so P66/Shell/Chevron don't appear here. For lube, DEF & packaged-goods breakdowns (and their brand names), see By Product Category. Gallons reflect delivered volume (quantity received). Supplier names come from the vendor master; an unmatched code shows as-is.

Parallel run. This builds the same Daily Term Cost file Valarie imports — supplier price + AEG's adjustment for every rack in the file. Nothing reaches RAX unless someone downloads the file and imports it. The RAX column shows what actually went into RAX for the day, so the two can be compared until it's trusted.

◎ Coverage every site you cover, how often to see it, and how it's going

FI watches each site's own ordering pattern. Steady, frequent buyers get a light cadence; new customers get weekly check-ins for their first months; key accounts get seen more; and anyone whose orders slip or volume drops gets flagged this week whatever the schedule says. Accept FI's suggestion and it keeps adjusting, or set your own.

VPP vs cost

Reading RAX…

VPP is AEG's posted cost; RAX adds freight + overhead − rebate (C+F+O−R) and the price formula adds the margin. Cost = last repack cost for repackaged items set to use it, otherwise actual cost (Amy's rule). Out of spec = the VPP is outside the acceptable range around that cost (⚙ Settings). Suggested VPP = the cost, or the old VPP + the cost increase if higher. Item basis; unit price follows. FI only reads RAX — the import file is how new prices get in.

Roles & Access

A role decides which screens a person can open. Built-in roles can gain or lose screens; custom roles start from a base type, which sets the data scope (own customers, a team, or all data) and the most a role of that type can ever see. Changes apply at each person's next page load.

⌕

Role	Type	Data scope	Screens	Users	Lands on	Last change

Sidebar Menu Editor

Drag ≡ to reorder items and sections. Checkboxes control which roles see each page — the menu can only hide pages; it never grants access beyond a role's built-in permissions (locked cells mean the role can't access that page at all). Admins always see the full menu. Changes reach users on their next page load.

A client-typed X-Forwarded-For header is never trusted. Locked users can be cleared from Users via the Unlock button.

Only ever sent on HTTPS responses. Browsers then refuse plain http:// for this host for the period below.

Content Security Policy

Run Report-only for a week, check browser consoles (F12) on the map, charts and PDFs, then Enforce.

CSP Extra Hosts

Space-separated. Only needed for a self-hosted map tile server or similar.

Max Upload (MB)

Remember-Me Cookie (Days)

Listen On (restart)

Before switching Listen On to 127.0.0.1: open IIS → URL Rewrite and confirm the rule forwards to http://localhost:5200 or http://127.0.0.1:5200. If it points at the server's name or LAN address, the portal goes down until you switch back. Takes effect on service restart.

Cookie & Session Security

Behind Reverse Proxy (IIS / nginx)

Enable when IIS or another reverse proxy sits in front of Flask. Tells the app to trust X-Forwarded-For and X-Forwarded-Proto for client IP and HTTPS detection. Leave OFF for direct localhost development.

Secure Cookies (HTTPS only)

Enable once SSL/HTTPS is in place. The session cookie will only be sent over HTTPS. If you enable this on plain http://, you will be unable to log in.

SameSite Policy

Lax allows top-level navigation; Strict blocks all cross-site sends.

Session Timeout (Minutes)

Idle session expires after this many minutes.

Default to "Remember Me" on Login

When OFF, sessions end when the browser closes. Recommended OFF for internet-facing portals.

Note: The HttpOnly cookie flag is always on (cannot be disabled). Some changes (e.g. ProxyFix, SameSite) take effect on the next request, but a service restart is recommended after changing these settings to fully apply.

The "Drafting from …" bank line is pulled automatically from each customer's BANK record (bank_name), and the notice is gated to customers flagged eft_auto_draft in customer_credit. Account and routing numbers are never printed.

💳 Online Payments (Hyfin)

Lets customers pay open invoices online (card / ACH) via Hyfin's hosted payment page, and lets AR staff send text/email payment requests. Card data never touches this server. Payments land in the Portal Payments queue — AR still posts the cash receipt in RAX.

◍ Tank Monitoring (TankHub)

Shows customers their monitored fuel tanks (Anova xFluid, Centeron, Veeder-Root) on the portal under Tank Monitoring → My Tanks, plus a summary card on My Account. Data comes from TankHub's customer-scoped Integration API: each request carries the customer's number and TankHub only returns locations linked to it. The API key never reaches the browser.

▤ OPIS Rack Feed (Mailbox Poller)

Automatically ingests the daily OPIS Contract Benchmark File from the mailbox OPIS emails it to. Manual upload on the OPIS Racks page works with or without the poller.
